On January 5th,2023, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the United States accompanied by Miss Supawadee Yamgamol, Minister (Commercial Affairs), together with officials from the Royal Thai Embassy and the Office of Commercial Affairs, met with Ambassador Sarah Bianchi, Deputy United States Trade Representative (USTR).<\/p>\n
Both sides discussed various issues including, the follow-up of Trade and the Investment Agreement Framework (TIFA) meeting in 2023, the request for support to remove Thailand from the Watch List countries under the Special 301 Report and the Notorious Market List, the follow-up on the renewal of the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) programme which expired on 31 December 2020.<\/p>\n
