  • September 19, 2011 GSP Coalition Sends Letter to the U.S. Senate Supporting Renewal of the U.S. GSP Program. Thailand and a coalition of 9 other GSP beneficiary countries recently sent a letter urging a speedy renewal of GSP to members of the Senate. GSP provides benefits to developing countries while at the same time lowering costs to U.S. consumers & allowing for US companies importing inputs to better compete, boosting the American economy and strengthening employment across a wide swath of industries.
