เมื่อวันที่ 7 ก.พ. 67 อัครราชทูตฝ่ายการพาณิชย์ (น.ส.สุภาวดี แย้มกมล) พร้อมเจ้าหน้าที่สำนักงานพาณิชย์ในต่างประเทศ ณ กรุงวอชิงตัน ได้พบกับทีมเจ้าหน้าที่สำนักงานผู้แทนการค้าสหรัฐฯ (United States Trade Representative: USTR) ด้านทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา นำโดย  Mr. Daniel Lee ตำแหน่ง Assistant USTR for Innovation and Intellectual Property ณ สำนักงานผู้แทนการค้าสหรัฐฯ กรุงวอชิงตัน เพื่อให้ข้อมูลพัฒนาการและความคืบหน้าการดำเนินการด้านการคุ้มครองและป้องปรามการละเมิดทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาของไทย และหารือแนวทางในการผลักดันให้สหรัฐฯ ถอดไทยออกจากบัญชีประเทศที่ต้องจับตามอง (Watch List: WL) และทุกบัญชีในอนาคต ภายใต้กฎหมายการค้าสหรัฐฯ มาตรา 301 พิเศษ

On February 7, 2024, Miss Supawadee Yamgamol, Minister (Commercial), together with official and staff from the Office of Commercial Affairs, Washington D.C., met with Mr. Daniel Lee, Assistant USTR for Innovation and Intellectual Property and his team at the Office of the United States Trade Representative. The discussion mainly focused on updating Thailand’s efforts and progress on intellectual property rights protection and enforcement with the aim of Thailand being removed from the Watch List under the U.S. Special 301.
