เมื่อวันที่ 25 ม.ค. 67 อัครราชทูตฝ่ายการพาณิชย์ (น.ส.สุภาวดี แย้มกมล) พร้อมเจ้าหน้าที่สำนักงานพาณิชย์ในต่างประเทศ ณ กรุงวอชิงตัน ได้พบกับ Mr. Dan Anthony ตำแหน่ง Executive Director of the Coalition for GSP เพื่อหารือร่วมกันถึงแนวทางในการเร่งรัดผลักดันให้สภาผู้แทนราษฎรและวุฒิสภาสหรัฐฯ พิจารณาการเสนอและผ่านร่างกฎหมายการต่ออายุโครงการสิทธิพิเศษทางภาษีศุลกากร (Generalized System of Preference: GSP) ณ ร้าน Soul Thai Kitchen and Bar เมือง Arlington รัฐเวอร์จิเนีย โดย Mr. Anthony ได้ให้ข้อมูลเชิงลึกที่เป็นประโยชน์ ซึ่งสำนักงานฯ จะได้นำข้อมูลดังกล่าวไปหารือกับกลุ่มประเทศสมาชิกที่ได้รับสิทธิ GSP (Alliance of GSP Countries: A-GSPC) ต่อไป

On January 25th, 2024, Miss Supawadee Yamgamol, Minister (Commercial), together with official and staff from the Office of Commercial Affairs, Washington D.C., met with Mr. Dan Anthony, Executive Director of the Coalition for GSP to discuss on ways forward to urge the Congress to reauthorize the GSP program which had expired since December 31, 2020 at Soul Thai Kitchen and Bar, Arlington, Virginia. During the discussion, Mr. Anthony exchanged views and provided insightful information about challenges of the GSP program renewal.
