เมื่อวันที่ 7 ตค. 2564 นายนพดล คันธมาศ อัครราชทูตฝ่ายการพาณิชย์ ได้หารือร่วมกับกลุ่มประเทศสมาชิก Alliance for GSP ณ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตอาร์เจนตินาโดยมีเอกอัครราชทูตอาร์เจนตินาประจำกรุงวอชิงตัน (H.E. Jorge Argüello) ให้เกียรติเป็นเจ้าภาพและกล่าวเปิดการประชุมเพื่อหารือแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลความคืบหน้าการพิจารณากฎหมายการต่ออายุโครงการสิทธิพิเศษทางภาษีศุลกากร (GSP) รวมถึงแนวทางการดำเนินการในการโน้มน้าวให้รัฐสภาสหรัฐฯ เร่งพิจารณาต่ออายุโครงการดังกล่าวเพื่อเพิ่มศักยภาพทางการแข่งขันให้กับผู้ประกอบการของประเทศสมาชิก

On October 7, 2021, Mr. Noppadon Kuntamas, Minister, Office of Commercial Affairs, Royal Thai Embassy together with His Excellency Jorge Argüello, Ambassador of Argentina to the United States, co-chaired the meeting with the Alliance for GSP at the Embassy of Argentina.

The Ambassador Argüello kindly hosted the meeting and gave an opening remarks. The meeting discussed and exchanged information on the progress of the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) renewal, including guidelines on how to convince the U.S. Congress to accelerate the consideration of the renewal process in order to increase the competitiveness of entrepreneurs of member countries.
