เมื่อวันที่ 17 มีนาคม 2566 อัครราชทูต ฝ่ายการพาณิชย์ (น.ส. สุภาวดี แย้มกมล) พร้อมเจ้าหน้าที่สำนักงานพาณิชย์ในต่างประเทศ ณ กรุงวอชิงตัน ได้หารือกับ Mr. Ian Whiton ตำแหน่ง Sourcing Director บริษัท Delta Children Inc. ซึ่งเป็นผู้นำเข้าเฟอร์นิเจอร์และผลิตภัณฑ์สำหรับเด็กรายใหญ่ของสหรัฐฯ โดยได้หารือถึงแนวทางและโอกาสในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการค้าระหว่างไทยและสหรัฐฯ โดยเฉพาะการจัดหาผลิตภัณฑ์จากไทย รวมถึงความเป็นไปได้ในการพัฒนาศักยภาพของผู้ผลิตสินค้าของไทยเพื่อส่งออกมายังตลาดสหรัฐฯ

On March 17th, 2023, Miss Supawadee Yamgamol, Minister (Commercial), together with officials from the Office of Commercial Affairs, met with Mr. Ian Whiton, Sourcing Director from Delta Children Inc. to discuss the opportunities to expand business with Thailand especially in children furniture and toy industries including ways and possibilities to help Thai manufacturers to increase their competitiveness and capacity to export to U.S. market.
