US BUSINESS DELEGATES CONFIDENT IN THE THAI GOVERNMENT

BANGKOK, 3 October 2014 (NNT) – Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha welcomed delegates of the US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC) which is the leading advocacy organization for US businesses working in Southeast Asia.

During the meeting, PM Prayut expressed his thank to the US delegates for their visit and time to discuss economic and investment cooperation. He underlined his policy to welcome investments related to clean energy, as well as those which are labor intensive, using local products as raw materials and supportive to Thai SME growth. He confirmed Thailand would provide all assistance for US investors to overcome their business obstacles.

The Prime Minister also invited US investors to invest in five special economic zones, saying if their projects were answering the indicated policies, they would receive priority considerations.
